Almost 21 weeks (past half way)

The expansion continues. Feeling a lot more activity, especially in response to pizza and seminars on Doppler ultrasound!

20 Week Scan

We had the 20 week scan on Friday 18th May. Everything went well – things are growing, moving and beating as they should. Unfortunately the pictures weren’t very good but to compensate we have some more self-captured movie clips from the week before (taken on Sat 12th May):

Jo and Glyn during week 20

Getting bigger and feeling some kicks. For the record, first movements were felt on May 5th in Thropton, Northumberland while we were up there with Christos, Tim and Neil for the Newcastle Batizado (capoeira event). Glyn first felt movements through Jo’s expanding belly last night (Fri 11th May). Jo no longer fits into her decorating trousers but that didn’t make Glyn let up on her any, oh no! We are currently decorating our spare room for when you people come to visit. The nursery next!

Jo’s thinking it’s not right that there’s no recorded evidence of Glyn’s size throughout the pregnancy so here is Glyn in week 20, his belly size is remaining fairly static:

Can you see a difference yet? We can’t.
