We spent the weekend decorating the nursery. Given that we don’t know whether our impending offspring is a boy or a girl, we’ve stuck to a neutral colour scheme. We’re particularly happy with the curtain tie-backs. Still need to get some furniture, but it’s a start…
Sorry we’ve been a bit slack over the last couple of weeks but last weekend Jo had a stinkin’ cold and wasn’t up for her photo being taken never mind being made worldly available… if you’ve ever had the pleasure (?) of seeing Jo with a cold you’d understand why, it’s not pretty!
Wow, isn’t time flying?! It doesn’t seem like any time at all that we told everyone that Jo was pregnant and now we’re beginning to consider decorating the nursery and buying things like a cot and pram. Jo tried on her kilt the other night to make sure it was still wearable for the piping competition in Colchester on Sunday…it is, but only just. It’s on to the last hole in each of the three buckles. Her original thought that she could wear it under the bump just isn’t going to happen – the bottom of the kilt came half way down the shins – it was looking a touch silly! This may scupper Rob’s plans of Jo playing in competitions until the end of July.
Here’s the latest face-off with the door:
