Coast to coast

This bank holiday weekend Glyn abandoned Jo and cycled with Jason from Workington, Cumbria, on the west coast of England to Tynemouth on the east coast. They did the trip over 3 days and successfully finished on Sunday morning with 149 miles on their cycle computers (the map said 134 miles). Let’s see if Glyn can stay awake through the NCT breastfeeding class tonight.

33.5 weeks

We’ve just had a weekend of NCT (National Childbirth Trust) classes and everything is starting to feel all the more real now. They were very good and we met some really cool people. Of the 6 couples there, wor wee-un is due last so it will be interesting to see at the class reunion if all have exited in their predicted order.

Jo at 32 weeks

Jo has grown somewhat in the last couple of weeks. It may be the bacon rolls that she gets ‘cravings’ for at work, the croissants and cakes she was forced to eat whilst in Aberdeen or maybe even it’s because wor wee-un is growing to be a canny size.

Summer Holiday 2007

Well, maybe the title is pushing it a little but we did have a lovely long weekend in Aberdeen. On Saturday we helped Jenny celebrate her 30th Birthday and then on Sunday and Monday we spent some quality time with Jo’s parents and Granny. We managed to fit in a trip to the beach with mum and dad where the boys were boys and competed at stone skimming!
