Perpendiculation

Eilidh’s latest trick is standing. She’s not too fussed about sitting; she figures that she can cover a fair amount of ground rolling but this is the next step(!!) Her current record vertical is approx 5 secs before the trolley rolls away and daddy rescues her from a face plant as there isn’t any chance that she’s letting go.

Work, nursery and half a year old!

Last Monday (31st March) Joanne returned to work and Eilidh started nursery, each for 3 days a week. It was a bit of a shock to the system to have to get us all dressed and ready to leave the house by 7.30am but we’re managing. Eilidh seems to really enjoy nursery with lots of lovely staff fussing over her, other children to play with and loads of toys and activities. Here’s one of her first masterpieces, we’re very proud:

Joanne is enjoying being back at work too but is definitely also loving the 4-day weekends!

Eilidh was 6 months old on Sunday (6th April). We can hardly believe it, the time is flying by so quickly. Eilidh is a wee smasher; she is affectionate, bright, curious, and extremely active. We’re so lucky. Here’s a picture of her on her half-th birthday!!
